Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center, Los Angeles, CA, intends to make an award for subsistence food service items at the Department of Justice, Metropolitan Detention Center, Los Angeles. The contract type is a firm fixed price supply contract. The award will be made to the responsible vendors who submit the most advantageous quote to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about November 23, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on December 13, 2011, at 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. All vendors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government with past performance and price-considered, price being rated higher than past performance. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this site.
