This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 8/10/10 to renovate a portion of the first floor of building 76 for clinic space. The general scope of this project is for a partial renovation of several rooms on the first floor of VAMC Bath building 76 to accommodate new clinic space. The clinic is to consist of a (2) exam rooms with a shared restroom and waiting room. Also included is a room for the agent cashier that includes security doors and windows as well as alarm system. In addition, work also includes the trades of plumbing, and electrical to the above mentioned general contracting. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses'. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 M. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
