The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK has a requirement for a Contractor to provide Design-Build Services for the € Expand Clinical Services (ENT & Infusion Clinic) per the specifications and plans to be provided via electronically at www.fbo.gov on or around August 12, 2010. NAICS code is 236220 is applicable to this solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all labor, design, materials, equipment, supplies, and travel necessary to perform this contract. This project includes (but is not limited to) design services, general construction, asbestos abatement, necessary removal of existing structures, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and other items.

The design build contractor will engage Architectural and Engineering Design firm (A/E) to provide construction drawings, functional layouts, specifications, construction cost estimates, engineering calculations, and subsequent construction period services for two separate construction activities referenced below. The first portions will involve an entire gut and remodel of 3,189 square feet for use by Infusion Clinic. The second portion will involve an entire gut and remodel of 2,750 square feet for use by ENT Clinic. The design build firm will develop concept and complete construction drawings, specifications, construction cost estimates, engineering calculations, and subsequent construction period services.

The small business size standard is $33.5M. The construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. This procurement action is being set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127 (d).
