SYNOPSIS

ASBESTOS ABATEMENT AND CEILING REPLACEMENT



The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-10-121 FCA, Asbestos Abatement and Ceiling Replacement at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist of general construction, alterations, and abatement work necessary for the removal and replacement of 10,000 sqft of ceiling tile, and asbestos containing pipe insulation/fittings, floor tiles, duct and floor mastic. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $50,000 and $100,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about August 30, 2010. The drawings, specifications and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal.
