This project proposes to improve the health and vigor of the project area by reducing the density of conifer trees. This project will reduce the density of both commercial and non-commercial size conifers, reduce and/or re-arrange existing hazardous fuels, enhance hardwoods, shrubs, and improve the vigor of remaining vegetation. Stewardship authority would assist in the removal of non-merchantable size materials within the project area and accomplish the goals of reducing hazardous fuels, reducing the risk of mountain pine beetle infestation, and providing a sustainable supply of commercial timber by reducing the density of existing pine stands.Resulting Contract Integrated Resource Service Contract with provisions for Timber Removal. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications Please consult the list of document viewers if you cannot open a file.
