The Programme is still subject to the relevant approvals from the Department of Communities and Local Government and final approvals from the Local Government Authorities. The Programme will provide an opportunity for Small Medium Enterprise (SME) occupiers and developers to apply for gap funding from the existing European Regional Development Funding Programme (ERDF) in order overcome the viability gap in bringing new commercial development (B1a.b.c, B2, B8) forward within the approved State Aid limits. As such, Walsall MBC, the accountable body and lead Contracting Authority, requires the services of a Technical Advisor role to support the delivery of this programme. The technical advisor should be experienced in Surveying, building cost consultancy, land valuations and european funding regulations and alike. Please see invitation to tender for further details. Under this procurement the successful applicant is required to participate actively in the economic and social regeneration of the community served by the contracting authority. Accordingly contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. Contract conditions will be detailed in the contract documents.
