Approximately 25 allocations per year, ranging in value from 10000GBP TO 150000GBP but could be up to Works EU threshold.
The initial contract period is for 24 months, with the option to extend for a further period of 12 plus 12 months, if deemed neccessary by the Council.

Where 2 or more economic operators act jointly for the purposes of submitting a tender, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to require such economic operators to take a particular legal form or to require a single contractor to take primary liabilityor to require that each party undertakes joint and several liability.

Unsatisfactory responses to sections C1-13 of the pre qualification questionnaire and / or the sections referred to in 111.2.2 and 111.2.3 below will result in exclusion, as described in Appendix 1 of the pre qualification questionnaire.

Information regarding projects with facilities matching the Council's needs carried out by the economic operator during the last 3 years which demonstrate its technical ability, taking into account the particular skills efficiency, experience and reliability, as detailed in the pre qualification questionnaire available from the address in section 1.1 and in accordance with Articles 48 to 50 of the Directive 2004/18/EC and Regulation 25 of the Public Contract Regulations 2006.
Unsatisfactory responses to sections A9 - A12 which lead the Council, acting reasonably, to conclude (considering the risk that the relevant answer suggests about the applicant's ability to perform the contract) that it would be inappropriate to invite the applicant to tender on this occasion will result in exclusion, and/ or sections F1 and F2 Companies who are not registered, or in the process of registering with a an approved Health and Safety Assessment Scheme verifiable by the Counciland who do not maintain an equivalent system will result in exclusion, as described in Appendix 1 of the Pre Qualification Questionnaire. Also applicants will be excluded if they fail to indicate that they (i) have the minimum insurance cover required under the contract (as specified in section (D) or (ii)are not willing to increase insurance cover as necessary to meet such minimum requirements.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Selection criteria are contained in Appendix 1 of the pre qualification questionnaire available from the address stated in Section 1.1 above.
It is envisaged that no more that 10 Suppliers will be invited to tender. However, if there is more than 1 Supplier equal in tenth position then all will go through.
