The strategic property advice required will include the identification of appropriate development opportunities and effective arrangements with other land owners or investors to bring about the Council’s strategic objectives in line with the vision in the Guildford town centre master plan (www.guildford.gov.uk/planning) (currently in draft and due to be adopted in May 2012) and prevailing planning polices. The advice must take account of the Council’s position as local authority and public sector body.
