South East Coast NHS Ambulance Trust is inviting expressions of interest from UK based ambulance providers to undertake:
— Response to 999 calls,
— Response to pre assessed “HCP referrals” requiring conveyance to a secondary care facility,
— Mental health transfers,
— Routine patient journey’s including discharges, admissions and transfers.
Providers should be able to provide staff to work to IHCD technician level only who have access to suitable vehicles to ensure that all patients are conveyed to the highest standards.
Providers will provide a minimum of 4 ambulance crews on a daily basis from Friday to Monday each week and a maximum of 8 ambulance crews on a daily basis 7 days a week. Crews will commence shifts across all parts of Kent, Surrey and Sussex until 31.3.2011.
