Please see the Attached RFP:The Office of Information Systems and Technology (OIST), under the direction of the Office of Financial and Administrative Management within the Department of Labor requires local /wide area network (LAN/WAN), IT communications, Web, database, Unix and Help Desk support services to support its IT vision for the Department of Labor as well as support and enhance its mission and IT service delivery. The contract award is intended to provide, a full range of specialized information technology services required to meet the Employment and Training Administration (ETA)-OIST responsibilities, while complying with applicable laws, regulations and procedures. The offeror shall furnish the subject matter experts with proven experience in managing a Center of Excellence, leading enterprise changes, managing complex projects, running high paced network operations centers, administering complex Information Systems within a heterogeneous enterprise environments, leading cyber security programs, and effectively delivering common end user services. ETA-OIST's IT stance is to incorporate emerging technologies that will allow it to continue to architect and manage IT services, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by maximizing automation, efficiencies, and cost savings. Throughout the life of this contract, the offeror is encouraged to continuously seek ways to incorporate innovative and emerging technologies, within the confines of the Federal Enterprise Architecture framework as applied within DOL, which will, in the most economic and efficient manner, improve system and mission performance. The ETA-OIST is composed of 3 functional areas which provide a network operations, application infrastructure, and customer support services to its customers.
