The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with VOYANT HEALTH LTD; 5575 STERRETT PLACE SUITE 250 , COLUMBIA, MD 21044-5921, TraumaCad Enterpirse Licenses software in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. These are very specific licenses used to template the positioning of orthopedic devices such as artificial hips and bones in an electronic computer assisted environment which superimposes the software images over existing x-ray films. Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 9/8/2010 C.O.B. Responses should be sent to iesse.rumbel@va.gov or faxed to Jesse Rumbel at (412) 954-5670. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
