The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to replace the fire detection/alarm systems at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, Mills, Wyoming Office, Warehouse, and Casper Control Center. The principal components of the work to be performed under this project include: 1) Fire detection/alarm system to include control panel, graphic annunciator panel, photoelectric smoke detectors, pull stations, audio/visual notification, remote supervisory annunciation, building system controls of smoke/fire damper and other HVAC systems, control of electromagnetic door holders, and associated conductors and conduit. The fire alarm systems shall be integrated with existing wet pipe sprinkler fire suppression systems and new gaseous suppression systems installed under this contract. 2) Furnish all materials and perform work to install a new clean agent gaseous fire suppression system in select room of the Casper Control Center. 3) Furnish all materials and perform work to install a new backflow preventer in the riser for the Wyoming Area Office.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. The range of the project is estimated $500,000 to $1.0 Million. This procurement is issued full and open competition, sealed bid, under FAR Part 14. Sealed Bids will be accepted from responsive and responsible contractors. The electronic copy of the solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around February 27, 2012.. Sealed Bids are anticipated to be due on or around April 12, 2012. An organized site visit is anticipated to be offered to all prospective bidders. The information about the site visit date, time and location will be included in the FOREWORD page of the electronic solicitation. Prospective contractors shall have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award of any Federal Government contracts.
