The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Service Area Office (SAO) East is seeking sources to explore the value in establishing contract vehicles with vendors who can provide frequently purchased maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies, tools and other items or consumables used in physical plant or medical facility operations (collectively "Items"). Resulting contract vehicles, if established, would be utilized by VHA buyers, across a large region, to procure MRO Items with various delivery and turn-around-time requirements in support of medical facility operations.



MRO Items can be further defined as supplies consumed in the production process but which do not either become part of the end product or are not central to an organization's output. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to develop the SAO East listing of vendors capable of providing MRO Items in, but not limited to, the following categories.

(a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.



(b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal.



(c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of identifying vendors who are able to supply MRO Items that fall within the above specified categories.



Expression of Interest



Responses to this sources sought will assist SAO East in providing a comprehensive view of the MRO marketplace to structure future contract vehicles. Should it be determined that it is in the interest of the Government to advance this procurement initiative, multiple contract vehicles may be issued.



Responses from interested vendors shall include the following items:



1. Check vendor MRO Item offerings in the MRO Item Categories table above. Please enter applicable NAICS code(s) in the column provided.



2. Salesperson Point of Contact (including name, phone number and email address)



3. Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs).



4. If applicable, please identify any past performance selling MRO Items in the categories referenced that have been delivered to the VHA in the twelve months.



5. Please identify Small Business Administration (SBA) Size Classification Category; i.e. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB)



6. If applicable, please identify any current Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contracts or agreements for MRO Items. Include contract or agreement number, expiration date, and MRO Item category listing. All MRO Item vendors are encouraged to reply to this Sources Sought, regardless of whether the vendor's MRO Items are on FSS schedule.



7. Please identify any applicable missing and/or suggested MRO Item categories along with NAICS Descriptions/Codes that are not represented above, particularly if based on past performance sales to VHA.
