The 5th Contracting squadron requires repair of MAF garages at 15 different sites on Minot AFB, ND. The work is 54% general, and 46% electrical. The statement of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Performance Period is 210 calendar days. Work shall be executed in accordance with the required government specifications. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the Government. The work is in a restricted area. Liquidated damages will be assessed for late performance. A one-year Warranty of Construction will be applicable to this requirement.


The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210 (Industrial Building Construction); The Business Size Standard is $33,500,000 in average annual receipts for the last three years.


Work on this contract is remove existing wall finish, re-insulate damaged insulation on walls and ceilings, add vapor retarder, new gypsum board, finish and paint; remove and replace existing electrical heating units with new and provide interlock controls with garage doors in 15 facilities on Minot AFB.

Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FedBizOpps. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to keep updated. This project will be solicited as full and open to both large and small businesses with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" process. FAR 52.219-4, Notice of price evaluation preference for HUBZone Small Business concerns is included in this solicitation. Solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOps on or about 23 July 2010 with an anticipated closing date on or about 23 August 2010.
