Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to perform the recycle requirements under this contract. The contractor shall adhere to the processing, storing and resale of recyclable materials for re-use and/or re-manufacture or scrap as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Recyclable materials will be collected on a weekly basis from DoD Family Housing Units located on Kadena Air Base, USMC Camps and various government installations on Okinawa, Japan. The contractor shall maintain at all times the recycling center and equipment located near gate 3 of Kadena Air Base in a safe and operational condition.The solicitation for this project is expected to be issued approximately in July 2010. The date, time, and meeting location for the pre-proposal conference will be identified in the solicitation. This solicitation is intended only for local sources. Local sources are those sources normally resident, licensed and registered to conduct service business in japan.
