RECOVERY: ***This project was previously advertised under FBO notice AG-9702-S-10-0381. The USDA Forest Service, Cleveland National Forest (hereafter "the Government," "the Forest Service," or "the Cleveland National Forest (NF)"), announces an opportunity for the CNF Water System Improvements construction project using funds from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).This acquisition is being advertised with unrestricted FULL and OPEN competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and any resultant firm-fixed price contract will be awarded pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 and FAR 15, Contracting By Negotiation, procedures. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(d), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated contract period of performance is 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website (See attached RFP package). The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project on time and on schedule. The scope of work includes installation of new well pump control systems at Mt Laguna and Fry Creek. Work also includes replacing a portable water storage tank along with waterline control valves and installation of water metering devices at various administrative locations on the Cleveland NF.
