This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This is a solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. Solicitation Number W91WAW-10-T-0168 is issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. NAICS is 561410; business size is $7.0 Million; acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Proposals must be submitted eletronically. Description of Services Requested: Services are required for monitoring and identifying near-term technologies that can have a substantial impact on improving Soldier support in-line with government selected logistic technology need areas. This work includes identifying/reporting on a continuing basis, through automated, manual and/or other contractor defined means, recent technology developments across up to five technology topic areas. The contractor will provide up to date technology information relative to government selected technology areas. It is anticipated that this work will provide a fixed level of support each month through the end of the period of performance. See attached Solicitation Document. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Contractor Registration CCR database prior to any contract award. Note that any amendments must be acknowledge by bidders.
