THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY.This is a pre-solicitation announcement to notify the market of an upcoming project in connection with removing and replacing of air-conditioning systems at the Yakima, WA Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) site. Work includes, but is not limited to: - Remove three (3) 10-ton air-conditioners, outside/inside supply and return ductwork, circuit breakers, conductors and safety switches. - Furnish and install two (2) 20-ton air-conditioners, ductwork, dampers and actuators, sensors, alarms and controllers, commission and certify airflow balance. - Provide operator and maintenance training, data and redlined drawings, spare parts and warranties. This project is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Award is anticipated in April 2010 with construction starting May 2010. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238220, which has a size standard of $14.0 Million. Magnitude of Construction: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Contract duration for completion of all work shall be 30 calendar days for submittals and material ordering, and 30 days for construction. The Request for Offers (RFO) package for this project will be available on or around March 22nd, 2010. The complete RFO with all applicable specifications and drawings will be posted to the FAA Contract Opportunities site only.
