IDIQ Contract for Overlay/Construct Roads and Airfield Pavements at Kadena Air Base and Various US Military Installations, Okinawa, Japan.The work consists of Overlay/Construct Roads and Airfield Pavements at US Forces facilities on the main island of Okinawa, Japan. Includes, but is not limited to pavement demolition, expansion, contraction and construction, cast-in-place concrete, exterior lighting, earthwork, rubber removal, fog coats, cold milling, field molded sealants for sealing joints in PCC, resealing concreate joints, grooving, partial depth repair, base, subbase, and base course construction, prime and tack coat, concrete sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, seeding, sodding, transplanting exterior plants, storm drainage, underground electrical distribution, ground points, disposal and landfill fees. The solicitation for this project is expected to be issued approximately May 2010. The date, time, and meeting place for the pre-proposal conference will be identified in the solicitation. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. IAW FAR 36.204(h), the magnitude of this project is over ¥ 1,089,969,000 Japanese Yen ($10,000,000). NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, AWARD CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED AND AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN Please consult the list of document viewers if you cannot open a file.
