II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The University of Oslo (UiO) is the country’s largest and most traditional institution for higher education. The university currently has approx. 30 000 students and approx. 6 000 employees. UiO has its own activities that lead to hazardous waste and risk waste, and would like to enter into a contract for services connected to final treatment of this waste. Hazardous waste and risk waste is waste that cannot be treated together with consumable waste as it can lead to serious pollution or be a danger for human or animal health.
The contract shall cover UiO’s need for the collection, transport and final treatment of hazardous waste, risk waste (including infected waste) and other waste that does not come under the ordinary sanitation contract. In addition the contract shall include courses and assistance as needed.

Copy of certification from authorities or documentation that shows that certification will be available before the contract is signed.
If waste is to be exported, a valid export licence shall be enclosed, or documentation that shows that such a licence will be available by the start of the contract.
The service provider shall document that he has the capacity (personnel and equipment) to fulfil the assignment for UiO.
Tenderers shall state the names of the personnel who are offered for the waste and ADR consultancy services and document their competence. Documentation of competence can be CVs, certificates, school certificates etc.
