Statsbygg has received an assignment from the Ministry of Justice to construct a new activities building in Oslo prison. This project is made up of a number of part-projects, and given out as a total enterprise. A revised pre-project has been designed, and the engineering design group shall be transported to the turnkey contractor. The project consists of the following sections:
1. Renovation of substitute areas (Boiler house 1st floor in C-wing).
2. Laying of cable and pipes in the ground at Haugenstua.
3. Demolition of Haugenstua and pump house.
4. Erection of new activities building.
5. Demolition of footbridge from D Block, and erection of D and A Blocks.
6. Erection of sole foundation between Block D and Kistemuren. (option).
Mainly, these activities must be carried out consecutively and not in parallel.
