Avinor AS, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, including Oslo Airport, intends to enter into a framework agreement for delivery of medium-sized self-propelled rotary snow cutters for use at most of the Awarding Authority’s regional airports.
If required, airports with other associated divisions (large or local airports) can carry out Call-off orders against the framework agreement. The Awarding Authority owns and operates 46 airports in Norway of which 11 are defined as regional airports.
The requested equipment is a vital part of the winter maintenance works at runways, taxiways, exit roads, reflection areas and aprons. The equipment shall follow the remaining snow clearing equipment (sweepers) with a speed of up to 25-30 km/h simultaneously as the string of snow is removed without any spill.
The string of snow may comprise of all of the runway’s snow laid on one side. Average snow depth is 1 cm and the width of the runway is 45 m. Requested air throw (from the centre of the rotary snow cutter to the centre of the main catchment area) is approx. 40 m.
The agreement period is 3 years with option for 1+1 year(s) prolongation.
