Most turbines will be Francis and Pelton turbines. Compact vertical shaft design with the runner directly fixed to the generator shaft is the preferred solution. However, the supplier is free to suggest other designs, including horizontal shaft units.
The total Scope of Supply is estimated to approximately 10 units per year, pending on rate of permissions given by the regulatory authorities, and on grid capacity.

description of these options: This frame agreement shall be valid 2 years from Contract start date 1.5.2011. Småkraft AS has an option to extend the Contract for 2 periods of 2 years each. If Småkraft is to exercise this option, this shall be confirmed in writing no later than 90 days prior to expiry of the contract or option period.
The Contract terminates at the expiry of the contract period without prior notice, unless the option to extend is exercised.
