II.4)Short description of nature and scope of works
Het werk heeft betrekking op het meerjarig in stand houden van beheerobjecten in het areaal van het waterdistrict Westerschelde. De werkzaamheden betreffen het verrichten van taken (vast onderhoud), activiteiten (klein variabel onderhoud) en services (aanvullende diensten) voor de volgende onderdelen in het areaal:
— de vaarwegen en de watersystemen van waterdistrict Westerschelde,
— de groenvoorzieningen, bermen en oevers,
— de objecten (civiel),
— de elektrotechnische installaties,
— de werktuigbouwkundige installaties.
Tevens het verrichten van werkzaamheden in het kader van:
— schadeafhandeling en calamiteiten,
— het realiseren van voorgeschreven activiteiten,
— het doen van investerings- en verbetervoorstellen voor het verbeteren van de beschikbaarheid en veiligheid van (objecten en systemen in) het te onderhouden areaal,
— inspecties.
Opdrachtgever heeft met de overeenkomst de volgende doelen waarbij van de Opdrachtnemer wordt verlangd dat hij te allen tijde kan aantonen dat de werkzaamheden die hij uitvoert om te voldoen aan de verplichtingen volgens de overeenkomst bijdragen aan deze doelstellingen:
— handhaven functionaliteiten,
— bereiken en behouden goed werkende staat,
— handhaven acceptabel onderhoudsniveau,
— minimale hinder / maximale doorstroming,
— publieksgericht handelen,
— duurzaamheid.

Aanbesteding conform: ARW 2005.
In het 2e kwartaal van 2012 zal een informatiebijeenkomst worden georganiseerd. Nadere informatie over deze bijeenkomst wordt op een later tijdstip gepubliceerd op Tenderned.
Het werk zal volgens de niet-openbare procedure worden aanbesteed. Er wordt naar gestreefd het aanbestedingstraject op de in II.A.6 genoemde datum te starten, middels publicatie van het selectiedocument.
