De UMC’s volgen de openbare procedure tot het Europees aanbesteden van de opdracht voor het verrichten van makelaarsdiensten verzekeringen. Het doel van deze aanbesteding is het verkrijgen van de Economisch Meest Voordelige Inschrijving (EMVI) voor Makelaarsdiensten verzekeringen conform de eisen en voorwaarden die in deze aanbesteding van toepassing zijn. Het LUMC coördineert de onderhavige aanbesteding in naam van en ten behoeve van de acht Universitair Medische Centra. Er zal een gezamenlijke Raamovereenkomst worden gesloten met de verzekeringsmakelaar die de EMVI uitbrengt. Alle UMC’s sluiten daarna individueel een nadere overeenkomst met de geselecteerde verzekeringsmakelaar waarin zij individueel hun specifieke eisen en wensen vastleggen. Het streven is om op 1.5.2012 de Nadere overeenkomsten in werking te laten treden.
