De opdracht behelst het leveren van Aanvullend Openbaar Vervoer (AOV) voor cliënten van 75 jaar en ouder en voor cliënten met een beperking, die hiervoor in aanmerking komen in het kader van de Wmo en die wonen in de gemeente Amsterdam. Het vervoer brengt cliënten van deur tot deur, zeven dagen per week van 06.00 uur 's ochtends tot 01.00 uur 's nachts. Het AOV vervoert cliënten naar sociale en recreatieve bestemmingen, dus niet naar werk, school of dagbehandeling. Cliënten reizen over het algemeen samen met anderen.
