The US ARMY TACOM Contracting Center has a requirement for the following Daimler Mercedes Benz brand commercial items to support the countries of Mauritania and Mali missions. All vehicles shall be provided with a diesel engine designed for an export market capable of performing as specified herein on high sulfur content diesel fuel (5,000 ppm or 0.5%).Items for Mali: 18 model year 2010 or later Atego 1517A 4x4 Trucks with Personnel Carrier Body painted Desert Tan and one lot of Atego spare parts. Items for Mauritania: Six (6) model year 2010 or later Atego 1517A 4x4 Trucks with Personnel Carrier Body painted Desert Tan, two (2) model year 2010 or later Atego 1517A 4x4 Trucks with 2,000 gallon (7500 L) Water Tank painted Desert Tan, two (2) model year 2010 or later Atego 1517A 4x4 Trucks with 2,120 gallon (8000 L) Diesel Fuel Tank painted Tan and one lot of Atego spare parts. One (1) model year 2010 or later Actros Recovery Truck painted Tan and one lot of Actros spare parts, and 11 Vehicle Recovery Kits. This requirement will be solicited as a one-time procurement under solicitation W56HZV-10-R-0429. FAR Part 12 with supplemental information will be used. This solicitation will be issued on or about 12 AUG 2010 and responses will be due 13 SEP 2010.
