Synopsis:

FA8620-05-G-3028-0074: MQ-1 Critical Capability Integration Program: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Predator Systems Squadron (703 AESG) intends to award a new delivery order on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. The contractor shall perform the necessary engineering, integration source data and testing activities required to develop productionized and fieldable capabilities for the MQ-1 system. Integration activities shall include main branch software development as well as electrical integration. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.General Atomics ASI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MQ-1B Predator system and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform this effort. The government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.For subcontracting opportunities, interested parties may submit appropriate information to Paula Hodgetts at 858-312-3615, or paula.hodgetts@gat.com at General Atomics ASI.
