II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
Design, layout, print and distribution of the Central Bank € s corporate and other miscellaneous publications. Types of corporate publications include the annual report, economics publications including the quarterly economics bulletin and the annual financial stability report, and the organisation € s strategy. These publications contain a mix of text, tabular and graphical material. A variety of miscellaneous publications are published also on an ad hoc basis, including the organisation € s internal staff publication and an € About Us € booklet. A new design for the Bank € s corporate publications has been implemented recently and it will be the supplier € s responsibility to maintain the consistency of the design and also have the capacity to develop the design if required over the course of the contract. A more significant design element may be required for miscellaneous ad hoc publications. The Bank € s corporate publications endeavour to present up-to-date analysis of the Irish and International issues. Amendments to text therefore need to be permissible immediately prior to commencement of the printing and distribution process.
The service provider will be expected to provide advice and practical solutions to ensure that the CBFSAI complies with the provision of information under the Disability Act 2005.
The purpose of this Notice is to invite firms to express their interest in tendering for the provision of the above services.

If invited to Tender, applicants may be required to sign a confidentiality undertaking. Applicants are requested to confirm their agreement. Contracts shall be required to comply with the employment standards operating in the Republic of Ireland. A statement is required by the applicant confirming that:
(i) in the event of a contact award, that they will comply with all applicable Irish employment legislation and labour conditions appropriate to their trade of industry, in relation to both their own employees and their proposed sub-contractors employees, and
(ii) to the best of the applicant € s knowledge, for the three month period to the issue date of this statement, that there has been compliance with all applicable employment legislation and labour conditions appropriate to their trade or industry, in relation to both their own employees and their sub-contractors employees.
