The current senior management selection process consists of a combination of CV assessment, ability/psychometric tests/assessments, competency based interview(s), reference checking and medical assessment where appropriate.
The overall process meets ESBs requirements, however, the organisation now wishes to review the type of ability / psychometric instruments used and the associated administration and feedback services to ensure the best outcome for ESB from both a selection and cost perspective.

II.2)QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1)Total quantity or scope
The ESB is seeking to appoint a single supplier to provide the following:
(1) Suite of appropriate ability and psychometric instruments suitable for senior management selection;
(2) Administration of the suite of instruments;
(3) Pre-interview feedback to the selection panel on assessment / test results;
(4) Post-selection feedback to candidates.
The proposed suite of instruments should measure the following:
(1) General mental ability;
(2) Critical reasoning;
(3) Personality (big five measure);
(4) Emotional intelligence.
ESB may decide to assess and adopt all or any number of the above abilities/psychometrics when selecting an appropriate suite of instruments for the organisation.
Any assessments/tests which require to be administered to candidates in a controlled environment must be administered in Dublin. Pre interview feedback to the Selection Panel will also be in Dublin.
