This market survey is being issued as a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes only.

The Contractor shall furnish services for transporting Government freight by Contractor provided trucks as set forth in the Pricing Schedule, in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of this contract and applicable Government of Japan (GOJ) laws and trade practices.
Performance shall be throughout the Kanto, Hokuriku Shin'etsu, Tohoku and Hokkaido areas to meet transportation requirements. The Area definition IAW GOJ Tariff is listed in Appendix. The point-to-point routes are specified in the Pricing Schedule. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Oct 2012.

The due date for responding to the market research questionnaire is 14 Feb 2012.

NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
