Für die hkk sollen die im Leistungsverzeichnis näher beschriebene Drucktechnik, Dienstleistungen sowie die notwendigen Hard- und Softwareprodukte beschafft werden.
Es wird gefordert das nur Komponenten des Hersteller KyoceraMita berücksichtigt werden. Gründe für die Fokussierung auf diesen Hersteller sind;
— Investitionsschutz der bestehenden Drucker (hohe Restwerte laut Afa),
— Hohe interne Aufwände für Einarbeitung bei anderen Herstellern,
— Zusätzliche Software für Abrechnung und Administration,
— Zusätzlicher Schulungsbedarf,
— Druckertreiber und Schachtsteuerung muss sonst neu angepasst werden.
Die hkk hat eine homogene Druckerstruktur und nur Drucker des Herstellers KyoceraMita im Einsatz. Der Umfang beträgt insgesamt 250 s/w-Drucker unterschiedlichster Leistungsklassen mit einem Druckvolumen von ca. 5 900 000 Seiten jährlich. Alle bisherigen Drucker besitzen eine Garantieerweiterung KYOlife über 4 Jahre, in diesem ist der Service und Wartung sowie eine jährliche Reinigung der Drucker inkludiert. Da der Service schon bezahlt worden ist, werden die Drucker die sich noch in der Garantie befinden, für diese Dauer weiterbetrieben.
Die hkk möchte ihre bestehende Druckerflotte in den nächsten Jahren erneuern. Dazu wird ein Rahmenvertrag abgeschlossen.
Um die bestehenden Werte zu schützen, werden im ersten Step nur 110 Geräte ausgetauscht. Alle anderen werden erst nach Ablauf der oben genannten Garantiezeit neu beschafft.
Im Jahr 2013 werden ca. 80 Drucker, im Jahr 2014 ca. 30 Drucker und im Jahr 2015 ca. 35 Drucker ersetzt.
