THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO B H DEFENSE LLC, 2300 9TH ST., S, STE 503, ARLINGTON, VA 22204-2320, FOR THE COUNTER TERRORISM COMMAND (CTC) TOWER 22 SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND MONITORING SERVICESThe proposed contract is to provide Tower 22 with enhanced security by providing day and night observation of the tower and ground approaches to the tower by observers from within the tower or by observers monitoring the Union III BDOC CCTV system. Under this contract Tower 22 (CTC-MiTT) will be provided a 360 degree security camera system consisting of 4 black and white/infrared multi-directional cameras, one monitor for the first floor of the tower, connection to two exsisting monitors on the 2d and 3d floors, and a DVR recorder capable of monitoring and recording attempts to access the tower entrance. Cameras must have the capability of being controlled for direction and focus from the second floor of the tower. Tower cameras shall be capable of remote monitoring from the Union III Base Operations Center BDOC). The Contract will be for 12 months after installation of the security syatem on a firm-fixed-price basis. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1. Interested parties not in concurrence with this sole source procurement may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a request for quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued.
