De serviceflats/assistentiewoningen worden gerealiseerd op twee locaties die beide integraal eigendom zijn van het OCMW. Er worden 40-42 éénheden gerealiseerd op een site in Eisden en nog eens 15-16 éénheden gerealiseerd op een site in het centrum van Maasmechelen. De voorwaarden waaraan deze serviceflats/assistentiewoningen dienen te voldoen worden bepaald in het bijzonder bestek.
