Les travaux s’inscrivent dans le projet spoorbypass Malines. Des 3 zones de travail constituant l'ensemble du projet, 2 sont reprises dans le présent cahier spécial des charges. Ce cahier spécial des charges comprend les travaux de génie civil dans les zones avant et après la gare de Malines ainsi que plusieurs travaux d’adaptation de voies et de caténaires pour pouvoir réaliser les travaux de génie civil.
Chacune des deux zones de travail forme un lot.

Une visite sur place est organisée le 6.3.2012, le matin pour la zone 10 et l'après-midi pour la zone 30. Modalités: voir partie 2A du cahier spécial des charges.
