The 911th Airlift Wing, Coraopolis, PA.,15108 intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for Project JLSS 05-0009, APF/NAF Repair COM Club Kitchen, at the 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh IAP ARS, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Provide for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to demolish and remove existing piping, sprinklers, equipment, floor tile, ceiling, fixtures, and other indicated materials. Remove and provide new exterior and interior doors, frames, and hardware, patch existing openings, and provide new lintels as needed. Modify indicated window openings and provide new windows. Remove and provide new concrete floor and re-slope to new and replaced floor drains, include new piping. Replace quarry tile flooring and repaint paintable finishes. Remove and provide new louvers, vents, and employee lockers. Replace floor, ceiling, and wall finishes at relocated and existing storage room, janitor's closet, employee's toilet, locker area, and server. Perform indicated asbestos abatement in work areas. Furr out all walls to conceal exposed piping and conduit. Replace fire sprinkler system and relocate fire alarm pull station. Renovate/relocate employee restroom, including lavatory, water closet, piping, faucets, and accessories. Replace existing duct heater, ductwork, existing ventilator fans, and HVAC controls. Replace existing air curtain. Tie gas cutoff valve into hood fire system. Demolish electrical equipment, connections, lighting fixtures, devices, and wiring. Replace lighting, switches, exit signs, and emergency lighting/batteries. Add new convenience outlets, GFIs and replace all wiring, panels, breakers, tie-ins, and conduit. Add phone and data outlets, conduit, wiring, and plates. Non-Appropriated Fund Repair Work (NAF): Work scopes includes replacement of wall surfaces, provide an acoustical tile (Mylar faced) suspended ceiling system to conceal piping and conduit and ceramic tile wall finishes in Kitchen and Dishwashing areas. Provide cooking/serving area changeable signs and menus. Patch disturbed roof penetrations and exhaust hood curb. Demolish and replace walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer and provide new equipment pads. Replace the serving line in new location, replace drink station counter, provide shelving in storage room. Replace the cook line to be adjacent to the serving line. Replace the dish washer line.Replace the grease exhaust hood and coordinate with the cook line. Replace the wet-chemical hood extinguishing system, relocate wet-chemical pull station. Replace exhaust duct/fan for dishwasher. Rebalance HVAC system. Provide gas, water, and power lines and connections for food service equipment (some equipment to be procured by the NAFI). Provide new sinks for the kitchen. Provide new plumbing, electric, conduit, wiring, and connections for all food service equipment, cooler, freezer, relocated exhaust hood, and point of sale equipment (i.e. cash register, data, telephone, and electric). As part of NAF Construction contract work: Walk-In-Refrigerator (including refrigeration system), Walk-In-Freezer, Ventilator w/Heat Sensor, Fire Suppression System. Non-Appropriated Fund Equipment Contract Work: Work scope for Food service Equipment, includes both the procurement and installation of certain equipment item numbers, and only installation of certain Government (NAFI) furnished equipment. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220. The applicable size standard is $33.5 million. Invitation for Bid solicitation package will be available o/a 6 Aug 10. Tentative bid opening date is 6 Sep 10. Performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This action is being procured under a Small Business Set Aside pursuant to FAR 52.219-6. Interested offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
