The CECOM Contracting Center Washington is requesting information on behalf of the U.S. Army RDECOM CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) for innovative approaches for large format infrared focal plane arrays (FPAs) on low cost alternative substrates to enhance sensor capabilities.This requirement may be accessed at the US Army, CECOM Contracting Center IBOP website. The US Army, CECOM Contracting Center has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of sources sought for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM Contracting Center to Industry. All parties who are interested in doing business with CECOM Contracting Center are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Offerors wishing to participate in this acquisition shall follow the instructions stated in the sources sought. You may access potential CECOM Contracting Center business opportunities by simply selecting CECOM under the heading ARMY SOURCES SOUGHTS, Logon & View by Army Contracting Activity, and then click on GO. You can register for a User ID and Password under USER SERVICES, New User Registration, on the right side of the screen. This request for information is for planning purposes only; this is not a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document exists and formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of the responses to this RFI. The Government will not be liable for payment of any response preparation expenses.
